The Volunteer has one bar - no smoking where you can enjoy a drink in a traditional cotswold pub atmosphere with two indoor and one outdoor large TVs showing all spoting events on Sky Sports and Setanta. In the winter benfits from a roaring log fire. There is a large choice of real ales and numerous CAMRA awards have been won in recent years.
Welcome to The Maharaja

It gives us great pleasure to welcome you to The Maharaja at the Volunteer Inn, and indeed, to the wonderful experience of Pan Asian cuisine which awaits.

We prepare mainly firm favorites with which we're sure you will be familiar, but additionally we hope you try some of the new and exciting dishes especially prepared by our Chef.

The variety of starters chosen for your enjoyment combine to create a glorious fusion of flavours and exotic taste from the many varied regions throughout Asia. All our dishes are prepared with a fine regard fro remaining true to the methods and tastes of their origin, using only the finest ingredients and authentic spices.

Our Beer Garden
In the summer we have a fantastic beer garden at the rear of the Inn and a courtyard near the entrance.
The Volunteer attracts locals, tourists, ramblers, cyclists, business people and families alike.
